Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities effectively. This is a campground. This position is temporary for the duration of the camping season. Rate of pay is based on experience and we offer merit raises based on performance. Employees are allowed to use campground amenities.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on campground facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in campground maintenance with a strong electrical, water system and septic system background is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to drive and use tractors and other light construction equipment.
- Use and knowledge of construction skills and the tools that are used.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of work.
