General Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Client Service Specialist II to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will take on the responsibility of mentoring and guiding Client Service Specialist I's, as well as preparing Stage1 proposals and acting as the primary point of contact for Stage1 client communication. You will work closely with local offices to ensure that the Stage1 project is staffed appropriately, complete project closeout and invoicing, and assist with presenting Terracon offerings and the Client Portal to both internal and external clients. You will also assist with internal and external training, provide support in training new employees, and facilitate client requests and communications.

It is essential that you follow safety rules and guidelines, actively participate in pre-task planning, and promptly report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mentor Client Service Specialist I.
- Prepare Stage1 proposals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Stage1 client communication.
- Engage local offices to ensure Stage1 project is staffed appropriately.
- Complete project closeout and invoicing.
- Assist with presentations to internal and external clients on Terracon offerings and the Client Portal.
- Assist with internal and external training.
- Manage all aspects of a Stage1 project.
- Help train new employees.
- Facilitate client requests and communications.
- Submit proposals to clients and follow up with clients on outstanding proposals.
- Review Stage1 project and proposal setup in ProjectXchange and Client Portal.
- Perform LifeCycle Management.
- Ability to obtain Terracon Project Manager course within 6 months of hire.
- Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
- Maintain quality standards on all projects.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline practiced by the firm including Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, and a minimum of 2 years related experience. Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
- Overnight travel may be required.
This position has been categorized as a "Remote Only" position. "Remote Only" employees do not have a designated workspace at an office, and typically work from home or another location.
The national standard salary range for this position is $56,300-$78,800. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
