Job Description
We investigate buildings and sites to identify physical and environmental risks.
Our responsibilities include:
- Performing and managing asbestos surveys, management planning, operations, and maintenance plans
- Developing sampling strategies and analysis for indoor environmental quality investigations
- Evaluating sampling results and providing consultation to clients on project needs
- Preparing reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations
- Coordinating with contractors, regulatory agency representatives, and internal Terracon practitioners
Essential Roles and Responsibilities
As a senior industrial hygiene professional, you will:
- Lead safety efforts for your team and ensure they follow safety rules and guidelines
- Develop an understanding of project-related risk and create a safe work environment
- Promote pre-task planning for all projects and lead teams of industrial hygiene professionals
- Supervise the analysis and formation of recommendations in written reports
- Provide technical direction and training to less experienced staff
- Participate in marketing strategies and presentations of qualifications to clients
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related science field
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in industrial hygiene
- A Master's degree is preferred
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history
