Job Summary
As a Geotechnical Department Administrator, you will provide clerical support to the geotechnical and soil boring teams. This includes managing schedules, preparing reports, maintaining records, and assisting with the coordination of soil boring projects.

Requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Schedule soil borings, site visits and coordinate with field teams and clients.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including reports, permits, and soil analysis results.
- Assist with preparing and filing reports for soil boring and geotechnical projects.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and respond to client inquiries.
- Ensure that soil boring permits and necessary approvals are obtained for projects.
- Track and maintain inventory of geotechnical equipment and supplies.
- Help prepare invoices, purchase orders, and manage project billing.
- Assist field teams with data entry and preparation of soil sample reports.
- Coordinate project logistics, including travel arrangements for field teams.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Adhering to deadlines
- Ability to be flexible during peak times
- Promoting a safe work environment and maintaining a clean and organized work area
- General lab duties including keeping the lab and equipment clean and organized
- Great attention to detail is required
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor/manager
- Any other task requested by the supervisor/ manager
Job Skills & Requirements
- Basic understanding of soil boring and geotechnical procedures is a plus not required.
- Basic computer skills such as Word and Excel
- Love and enjoy working indoors.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Always adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Must be a self-starter, reliable, and come with a good and humble attitude
- Attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Basic Math knowledge.
- Clean MVR, background, and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager
