Cashier/Customer Service

Overview

As a Cashier/Customer Service Representative at our small clean fill disposal site, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Your role involves processing transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly upon arrival.
• Provide information about disposal services, pricing, and site policies.
• Issue receipts and maintain records of daily transactions.
• Direct customers to designated dumping areas as needed.
• Ensure the customer service area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service or cashier roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.16 - $25.87 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
