Job Summary: As a Real Estate Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients in buying and selling properties. You will use your knowledge of the local market, negotiation skills, and customer service expertise to guide clients through the transaction process. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting, client relationship management, and transaction coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Representation: Represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comparative market analysis to estimate property values.
- Property Listings: Create and manage property listings on various platforms, ensuring accurate and appealing descriptions and photos.
- Client Consultation: Provide expert advice to clients on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, and related matters.
- Showings and Open Houses: Arrange and conduct property showings, open houses, and tours for potential buyers and renters.
- Negotiation: Negotiate purchase agreements, contracts, and terms of sale to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.
- Documentation: Prepare necessary documents such as purchase agreements, contracts, and leases.
- Networking: Build and maintain a network of contacts, including mortgage lenders, contractors, and inspectors.
- Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote listings.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive client experience throughout the transaction process.
- Compliance: Stay updated on real estate laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all transactions.
Qualifications:
- License: Must hold a valid real estate license in Washington State. If you are not yet licensed, consider completing your courses at Terrafin School of Real Estate (rolling admissions, hybrid-structure). Those who do and hang their license with Terrafin, are eligible for 100% tuition reimbursement.
- Experience: Previous experience in real estate sales is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities, Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, Proficient in using real estate software and MS Office Suite
- Knowledge: Familiarity with local real estate markets and neighborhoods.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate is a plus.
