Landscape Architect/Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer on a part-time or freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for landscape and hardscape design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client visions into functional, beautiful outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss project goals, design preferences and perform a thorough sit analysis.
• Develop custom landscape and hardscape designs, incorporating native plants and sustainable practices
• Create hand-rendered designs and use Realtime Landscaping Architect software to develop detailed plans
• Ensure designs align with local climate conditions, soil types, and sustainability best practices
• Present design concepts and revisions to clients professionally and clearly

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design
• Proficiency in hand-rendered design and Realtime Landscaping Architect software
• Strong understanding of native plants, hardscaping, drainage, and topography
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in sustainable landscape practices is a plus
