Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Landscape Designer on a part-time or freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for landscape and hardscape design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client visions into functional, beautiful outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to discuss project goals, design preferences and perform a thorough sit analysis.
- Develop custom landscape and hardscape designs, incorporating native plants and sustainable practices
- Create hand-rendered designs and use Realtime Landscaping Architect software to develop detailed plans
- Ensure designs align with local climate conditions, soil types, and sustainability best practices
- Present design concepts and revisions to clients professionally and clearly
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design
- Proficiency in hand-rendered design and Realtime Landscaping Architect software
- Strong understanding of native plants, hardscaping, drainage, and topography
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in sustainable landscape practices is a plus
