Warehouse Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver and field staff labourer to join our team. This multifaceted role involves both warehouse operations and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient transportation of goods while maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and flatbed trucks, while demonstrating strong communication skills.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Drive vehicles such as flatbed trucks, tow trucks, or tractor-trailers to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations during loading, unloading, and driving operations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery schedules and warehouse operations.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Provide support for paratransit or school bus driving as needed, ensuring the safety of all passengers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or driving roles is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with bus driving or paratransit is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts; certification is desirable but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling inventory.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods.
• A proactive approach to safety practices in both warehouse settings and on the road.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $21.68 - $22.43 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 45 per week

Schedule:
