Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Control Financial Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, Finance & Operations, the Sr. Program Control Financial Analyst will interface with program managers, FP&A, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations, as well as external customers, to provide contract financial management to various contracts and address operational issues in a timely and effective manner.

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Control Financial Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director, Finance & Operations, the Sr. Program Control Financial Analyst will interface with program managers, FP&A, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement organizations, as well as external customers, to provide contract financial management to various contracts and address operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare financial deliverables and internal/external reports to include program inputs to Long Range Plan (LRP) and Estimates at Complete (EACs)
- Support the preparation and distribution of financial information and analysis within required deadlines while ensuring that the information provided is concise, relevant, and understandable to assist program management and operations leadership in making intelligent business decisions
- Maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitoring subcontractor's cost and review/approval of invoices
- Assist with future proposal development and contract negotiation activities utilizing sound business judgment
- Maintain program milestone billing logs
- Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing on a recurring basis
- Support development of budgets (spend plans) for assigned programs and perform financial analysis on funding profiles and program financial variances
- Support cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analysis
- Assist manager and train and mentor other program controllers, as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
- 8 years in Project Control, Accounting, Finance, or related work in the government contracting space
- Familiar with multiple program types (CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc.) with varying degree of complexities
- Demonstrate the ability to process and analyze large volumes of data in Excel and consolidate into management level reports
- Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles
- Well versed in the entire life cycle of a program from proposal development through contract close out
- Complete understanding of financial analysis such as return on sales (ROS), return on cost (ROC), annual operating plans, accounts receivable, and revenue & profit forecasts, as well as an understanding of the preparation of program baseline data, EAC development, and cost estimating/pricing
- Can make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, accounting principles
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills; must be able to multitask, prioritize and manage deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision, be persistent in follow-through, and perform effectively within deadlines
- Ability to balance long-term thinking with short-term execution
- Must be able to multi-task and support program with efficiency and accuracy
- Microsoft D365 experience preferred
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
