Growers Assistant

Position: Full time position as Assistant Grower located in Huntsville, TX.

Summary of Assistant Grower Position:

Applicant will be expected to complete any and all of the following tasks when required

· Filling approx. (400) 3 Gallons pots daily with mulch and placing them in assigned areas

· Planting seeds and seedlings

· Irrigation observation

· Trimming trees

· Assist in handling/ lifting approx. 800 trees in pots a day, each weighing about 15 lbs each

· Must be comfortable with the repetitive motion of manually loading 18 wheeler's & trailers

· Keep environment clean & organized

Work Environment:

· Hours of Operation: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

· Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation)

· All positions are outdoors and are very physical

· Pay is provided weekly through direct deposit

Benefits:

· At your 1 year anniversary you are given 3 paid days. 2nd year is 5 paid days, 3rd year is 7 paid days and 4th year is 10 paid days.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· General plant knowledge is preferred. Training will be given to provide employee with the proper skills

· Applicant must have ability to follow directions and complete tasks given in a timely manner

· Applicant must be able to work independently as well as with others and at a FAST PACE

Requirements:

· Must have a valid DL and vehicle

· Smart phone is required for clocking in, switching job duties and communication throughout the day

· Must have a type of account for direct deposit
