Overview
The Lobby Bar Busser/Food Runner assists and supports servers to ensure prompt service and guests satisfaction. They are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of dining room and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
- Set up Trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
- Pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubs
- Ensure full bus tubs get brought back into the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set ups.
- Assist server in bringing food in kitchen and assist kitchen in expediting food.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, taking care of lines, etc.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests` service needs
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- Perform related duties as required
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general property
- Subscribe to proper grooming, dress and uniform standards as set forth by Company policy
- Be courteous to all guests and coworkers
- Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Employee Handbook
Qualifications
- Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
- Must be able to speak and comprehend English
- Ability to implement and uphold service standards
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Experience, Education, & Licensure:
- High School diploma preferred
- Valid CA state Food Handlers Card required
Compensation:
Base Pay Start Rate: $16/Hr. Tips!
