Overview
The Staff Accountant (On Site) will have multiple responsibilities with focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations and general accounting.
Responsibilities
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- General accounting
- Fixed assets accounting
- Assisting with the month-end close, AP and AR
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend meetings as requested
- Assist with month-end closing and other related responsibilities as assigned
- Perform special projects and other related responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- High aptitude in Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Detail oriented and focus driven
- Able to work autonomously
- Able to work in a team environment and have excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with departmental managers and other team members
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Experience, Education, & Licensure:
- College degree with focus in accounting
- Hotel accounting background a plus but not essential to the role
- Experience with hotel property management system (Opera) preferred
- Proficient systems knowledge of MS Office, Oracle and Birchstreet
Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $29/Hr.
