We are seeking a Principal Hydrogeologist with a strong background in well services to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in well design, construction oversight, development, and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes delivering innovative and practical solutions tailored to the Pacific Northwest’s unique hydrogeologic settings.
The Role
- Design and oversee well installation and construction projects using diverse drilling methods.
- Manage and conduct well development, testing, and performance evaluations.
- Perform aquifer testing and groundwater resource assessments to inform wellfield optimization strategies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Washington State’s well construction and groundwater management standards.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions for groundwater management and well services.
- Prepare technical specifications, construction plans, and regulatory documentation.
- Conduct hydrogeologic investigations and groundwater modeling to support resource management.
- Lead well rehabilitation and maintenance strategies to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Provide guidance on wellhead / source water protection and resource sustainability.
- Lead and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Identify and implement growth strategies.

Salary
Compensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location with a range of $150,000 to $205,000.
