Description :
Terraphase Engineering is seeking a Senior Hazardous Building Materials Technician to join our team in our Oakland, Pleasanton, or Sacramento offices.
The Role
- Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Conduct building materials and environmental media sampling (air, soil, soil vapor, surface water, and / or groundwater) in accordance with standard operating procedures utilizing a wide variety of equipment
- Supervision or third-party oversight of other contractors
- Supervise abatement activities and ensure contractor compliance with health & safety regulations and project specifications
- Maintain accurate field logs and documentation of sampling and monitoring activities
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow decontamination procedures
- Work with project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Salary
Compensation for this position is based on years of experience, technical expertise, technical education, and geographic location with a range of $69,848-$80,000.
