About the Role

As a vital member of our organization, you will :

  • Develop and implement innovative, data-driven talent acquisition strategies focused on attracting high-caliber candidates in environmental consulting, engineering, and technical fields.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and hiring managers, offering insights on talent trends, workforce planning, and market analysis.
  • Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle for pivotal roles, concentrating on technical and leadership positions.
  • Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline by proactively sourcing, networking, and establishing relationships with professionals in the A / E / C and environmental sectors.
  • Enhance recruitment processes and tools for greater efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Lead initiatives to strengthen our employer brand through compelling job advertisements, career site upgrades, and targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to integrate hiring practices with overarching DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) goals, promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Mentor and guide team members, sharing best practices to elevate hiring team performance.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement and highlight the impact of recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute forward-thinking, data-led talent acquisition strategies.
  • Provide trusted counsel to senior leadership and hiring managers.
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for impactful roles.
  • Build and sustain a comprehensive talent pipeline.
  • Refine and enhance recruitment processes and tools.
  • Lead branding initiatives to amplify employer presence.
  • Align hiring strategies with DEI objectives in partnership with HR.
  • Mentor and develop capabilities within the recruitment team.
  • Analyze and report on recruitment metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are preferred. Equivalent years of professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • 8 years of progressive recruitment experience with a focus on leadership-level hiring, preferably in the A / E / C or environmental consulting fields. (4 years with an advanced degree).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive hiring strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a history of building lasting relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Expertise in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment analytics, and advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Adept at utilizing metrics to refine recruitment strategies, forecast needs, and present actionable insights to leadership.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices.
