Position : Support Staff Professional (Full-time & Part-time)
We are a loving family seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to assist our sona bright, funny, and adventurous young man with limited vision. Hes curious about the world, loves learning, and enjoys exploring new experiences. Your role will be crucial in helping him navigate his daily life with confidence, joy, and independence.
What Youll Be Doing :
As a Support Staff Professional , youll be an essential part of our son's support team, ensuring his safety, well-being, and overall quality of life. Your daily responsibilities will include :
Engaging Outings & Activities Accompany him on exciting community outings, volunteer work, and social activities.
Daily Living Assistance Provide support with walking, hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and other essential tasks.
2 : 1 Support Work alongside another staff member to create a safe and structured environment.
Who Were Looking For :
We need kind, patient, and proactive individuals who are passionate about making a difference. If you have experience supporting individuals with disabilitiesespecially those who are non-verbal or require behavioral supportwed love to hear from you!
Ideal Candidates Will Have :
2-4 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred).
An understanding of positive behavior support strategies or a willingness to learn.
A calm, creative, and problem-solving mindset.
Comfort around a friendly therapy dog in the home.
Experience with basic sign language (a plus, but not required).
Flexible Scheduling & Shifts :
MondayFriday : 6 PM 11 PM
Weekends : Flexible 5 to 10-hour shifts available
We welcome multiple candidates to help cover different shifts!
