Position Purpose:
To sell sponsorship and exhibition space for Terrapinn's industry leading events.
To build, create and manage new and existing client relationships
To work with key internal team members to foster growth of the events.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will work strategically to drive the growth of the portfolio across sponsorship sales and exhibition sales, selling booth space and sponsorship packages to leading technology companies and solution providers. The BDM will own the entire sales cycle from prospecting through the close of the deal.
Ideal candidate:
· Experience selling either transactional sales or more ideally, needs based or consultative sales
· Understanding of b2b events (specifically conference and expos is a plus).
· Proactive, ambitious and disciplined professional to drive sales through sales trips, face-to-face meetings and is eager to talk to clients via phone, Zoom, Teams, etc.
· Results driven individual who has surpassed targets set and takes ownership of projects.
· Willingness to prospect on own and create new leads for themselves.
