The business is headquartered in St. Louis Missouri with its primary manufacturing facility in Belleville IL. The business is further supported by a worldwide manufacturing supply chain base.
POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager is a key member of the TerraSource leadership team with accountability for directing all plant activities related to performance and profitability for the Belleville IL location. This position will also have responsibility for managing and focusing on measures associated with safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee production of the Belleville location that meets short-term and long-term business plans.
- Maintain the plant's profitability and ensure all safety and quality requirements are met.
- Develop and implement business plans that align with company goals and overall strategic vision.
- Responsible for strategic coordination of planning, scheduling, shipping, receiving, and inventory management to meet customer demands.
- Build a high performing team and work collaboratively to drive change initiatives within the organization.
- Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives tied to the strategic business direction.
- Build partnerships with your Corporate Sales Managers to identify Business Unit growth opportunities.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering.
- 7 years of progressive management
- 7 years of Manufacturing/Operations experience with the Ability to be accept, nurture and grow the TSG culture.
