What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate Part Time position at Terre Haute Casino Resort?
SUMMARY
Candidate will unload received goods, record, unpack, inspect, report damages and discrepancies, and store all materials delivered to Terre Haute Casino Resort according to set procedures within the Receiving department. Candidate will deliver all packages to the necessary departments in a timely and professional manner and process all corresponding paperwork. Candidate will perform physical, cycle and free issue transaction counts of materials as directed.

- Must have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate both in verbal and in written form.
- Experience labeling, stocking, and preparing materials for shipment is desired.
- Forklift experience and certification in powered industrial trucks preferred.
- Responsible for keeping the receiving areas and receiving yard clean at all times including trash removal, cleaning dumpster area and hoppers, sweeping, washing down receiving yard and snow removal.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. One year of warehouse experience preferred.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC’s are preferred.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level is loud on the casino floor. Candidate will be potentially exposed to smoke when on the casino floor. Candidate must be organized and be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
