Shipping Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment and be proficient with various shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Process outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are correctly labeled and documented.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements within the warehouse.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or MRP software.
• Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for distribution.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

• Proficient in package handling techniques and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and other warehouse machinery.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or MRP software is preferred.
• Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping procedures within a distribution center setting.
• Ability to effectively use RF scanners for inventory management.
• Experience with AS400 systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.75 per hour
