Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our EPS division. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering collaboration across departments and international teams.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, promoting professional growth and technical excellence.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of EPS projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and process engineering, to achieve project goals.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide guidance on the design and testing of EPS assemblies and components.
- Ensure adherence to process specifications and quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Quality & Compliance:
- Implement strategies for quality improvement, cost savings, and warranty analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
International Collaboration:
- Liaise with engineering managers in Reynosa and the United States to align on project priorities and objectives.
- Report on project status and performance metrics to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive electrical engineering.
- Proven leadership experience in engineering roles.
- In-depth knowledge of EPS systems and electro-mechanical components.
- Strong understanding of quality standards for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts.
- Experience with electrical addressing and communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, K-Line, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
- Proficiency in software tools such as LabVIEW, C#, or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Relocation Requirement: Candidates must be willing and able to relocate to Reynosa, Mexico.
