We are seeking a Land Ground Forces Commander (GFC) to provide specialized military training support and instruction for the Air Force Special Warfare Squadron. This role involves dynamic and impactful training responsibilities, with primary locations including Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), AZ; Fort Huachuca, AZ; San Clemente Island, CA; Lake Roosevelt, AZ; Coronado, CA; and surrounding areas dedicated to maritime warfare training and rescue operations.

So, what will the Land Ground Forces Commander (GFC) at Terrestris do?

The GFC’s primary role is to synchronize efforts with the lead Government phase instructor. The secondary role of the GFC is to lead, manage, and organize all contractor personnel throughout the operation. All direction for training execution will be taken from the lead Government phase instructor.

Duties:

• Assist in qualifying fully mission capable Pararescue Jumpers (PJ), Combat Rescue Officers (CRO), Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Specialists, and other AFSPECWAR specialists.
• You will maintain communicate with all personnel throughout Land FMPs execution via provided communication devices.
• You may be required to perform duties as a Role Player in a scenario.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the Warfighter we’re looking for if you have:

• A minimum of three (3) years as team leader on a SOF team.
• Combat deployment experience in Afghanistan or Iraq with a SOF unit within the last 15 years.
• Knowledge of Small Unit Tactics (SMUT) from SODIC, Marine Recon Basic Course, Ranger course, or Special Forces Q Course.
• Graduated Ranger school, Marine Recon leaders’ course, or Navy Seal Platoon leader’s course.
• Attended a School of Infantry (SOI); ether the Army or Marine Corps.
• US Citizenship, active Secret Clearance or higher is preferred.
