The Training Master Scheduler plays a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and ensuring the timely execution of training schedules for personnel, units, and commands. As the Training Master Scheduler you will be responsible for organizing and managing training activities to meet operational needs, maintaining readiness, and ensuring personnel are adequately prepared for missions.
What does a typical day look like for the Training Master Scheduler?
You will:
- Ensure all training records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with Navy standards and regulations.
- Address and resolve conflicts related to training schedules or resource allocation.
- Implement solutions to mitigate training delays or disruptions.
- Ensure training schedules are aligned with Navy regulations, directives, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational readiness, and regulatory standards during training events.
- Serve as a point of contact for training-related scheduling inquiries from various departments, units, and personnel.
- Provide timely updates and changes to training schedules to relevant stakeholders.
- Regularly assess training processes and schedules for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recommend improvements and adjustments to enhance the scheduling process and overall training readiness.
What qualifications do you look for?
You might be the scheduling professional we’re looking for if you have:
- A Training Scheduling background.
- A minimum of (5) years of scheduling experience as a Training Scheduler.
- Strong understanding of military training requirements, certification processes, and operational needs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., MS Excel, Navy-specific scheduling tools).
- A high school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).
- Must be eligible for or hold a security clearance as required by the position.
