The Personnel Recovery (PR) Training Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development of training objectives, COI documents, training aids, and lesson plans that align with USAID SEC / ISP / STB PR requirements.
Responsibilities
A Personnel Recovery (PR) Training Specialist's day is dynamic. The role involves conducting training during mobile training team events in both CONUS and OCONUS environments to support USAID Mission-specific Personnel Recovery (PR) Programs and other security training needs. Responsibilities include delivering Personnel Recovery Employee Education, Management, Prevention, and Training (PREEMPT) and PR Officer (PRO) training in accordance with established Course of Instruction (COI) documents, as well as other security training programs as directed by the PR Program Coordinator and Senior Training Specialist.
Qualifications
You might be the person we’re looking for if you have :
- Minimum three years of experience in instruction delivery and three years of experience in developing and providing training to civilian employees.
- Must have extensive experience in communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience in public speaking, group facilitation, and program delivery.
- Must be able to relate and adapt to the needs of a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience in, and familiarity with life overseas or in a different culture.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Base knowledge in safety and security principles.
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S Passport.
- Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
