Automotive Parts Counter Person

Terry Reid Hyundai is currently seeking an Automotive Parts Counterperson. A minimum of 1 year of Automotive Parts or Service Experience is Required. Please do not apply if experience is not on your resume.

Qualifications:

• ** 1 Year Minimum Automotive Parts or Service Experience Required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in an automotive parts counter role or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of automotive parts, including their functions, compatibility, and industry terminology.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to establish rapport, address customer concerns, and provide accurate information.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts based on their specific needs and vehicle make/model.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and offering expert advice on parts and accessories.
• Utilize our dealership's inventory management system to check stock availability, place orders, and manage the parts inventory effectively.
• Collaborate with the service department and technicians to ensure accurate and timely delivery of parts for repairs and maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
