Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage your expertise in the AIAG Core Tools, enhancing our quality systems and solidifying our reputation as a trusted Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier for leading automotive manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the implementation and management of quality control initiatives and processes using the AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA) to ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
- Develop and maintain thorough APQP documentation supporting the product lifecycle from concept to production and delivery.
- Facilitate FMEA sessions to proactively identify risks in product designs and manufacturing processes, developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the PPAP submission process to automotive customers, ensuring all parts comply with stringent quality specifications.
- Utilize SPC methodologies to monitor and control production processes, recognizing trends and initiating corrective actions to uphold product quality.
- Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to validate the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems, gauges, and instruments utilized in quality control.
- Engage in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to discover and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
- Act as a quality expert within the organization, providing training and guidance on quality standards and the application of AIAG Core Tools.
- Perform root cause analysis on quality challenges, leading cross-functional teams in the development and application of corrective actions.
- Stay current on automotive quality standards, including ISO / TS 16949 and IATF 16949, ensuring compliance is maintained throughout the organization.
