Production Hours: 7AM-4PM - M-F
Overview:
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on leading a team, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance. The main duties are to supervise a team of 20-25 production workers, teaching, training, holding accountable, growing culture, being able to work with people and support the team and the Plant Manager. There is significant growth opportunities for the someone that can step in and excel in the role. This person should have a strong work ethic, and the ability to help ensure the team is performing well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Plan, assign, and oversee daily production tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, JIT, and Kaizen.
- Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct daily meetings to set expectations and drive accountability.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Support cross-training and workforce development to build operational flexibility.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives using root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation for production performance, employee attendance, and operational audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Some experience as a team lead, supervisor, leadership, etc...
- Ideally has experience with lean manufacturing, process optimization, and workforce management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
