TES Staffing is assisting a dedicated team in the Business Department at an east side school district to find a Payroll Clerk, who will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time!

What You'll Do :

As a Payroll Clerk, you'll manage critical payroll processes that keep the district running smoothly. Your responsibilities include :

Preparing and reviewing payroll data for accuracy.

Managing employee absences, timecards, and automated timekeeping systems.

Handling payroll deductions, benefits enrollments, and insurance billing.

Supporting new employees with medical, dental, and retirement benefits setup.

Collaborating with agencies for compensation claims and unemployment insurance.

Generating reports for leadership and maintaining organized records.

What We're Looking For :

To thrive in this role, you'll need :

A strong foundation in office practices and payroll systems.

Sharp attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, and the ability to handle sensitive data with care.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficiency in word processing, database management, and using tools like calculators and spreadsheets.

Schedule :

Regular Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (37.5-hour workweek).

Summer & School Break Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM.
