Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift. As a collaborative member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. With a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial machinery, you will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and improve production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to machine breakdowns using mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Complete work order requests for improvements and non-breakdown repairs
• Work with the production, engineering, and quality teams to improve safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the plant
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic devices and pumps
• Obtain parts and services from vendors by completing purchase requisitions and obtaining quotes
• Operate tool room equipment to produce or repair machine parts
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED; secondary education in trade school preferred
• 5-10 years' experience in an industrial maintenance position
• Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• A strong background of machine repair, machining, and welding
• Experience with electrical component safety and troubleshooting
• Experience working with drives, motors, heating systems, and automated equipment
• Troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley PLC software (Logix 5000)
• Strong customer service attitude
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Computer literacy with Microsoft products
