The Material Planner will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our production process. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, production planning, and supply chain optimization. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and able to multi-task.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control production planning and scheduling for work-in-process and finished goods
- Establish and monitor inventory levels against forecasts
- Minimize company investment in inventory and schedule material production and delivery
- Ensure customer satisfaction with available product for on-time deliveries
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term production planning to meet company requirements
- Ensure customer delivery commitments on make-to-order products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with MRP reports, data entry, and interpretation of data, preferably in SAP
- PC proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Able to work within the framework of 6S, ISO, and IATF requirements
- Flexibility to work varying hours
