The is all about keeping the right products flowing at the right time—sourcing finished goods globally to deliver top-tier service at the lowest cost for tesa customers. This role oversees the planning and sourcing of finished goods from global suppliers to maximize service levels at minimal cost for tesa customers. Some key duties include managing inventory against forecasts, ensuring demand accuracy, achieving service targets, minimizing inventory investment, and coordinating with product managers on safety stock and international shipments. The focus is on finished good which drive 80% of the business unit’s volume, margin, and revenue.

What you will do:

• Manage the processes of supporting the planning & purchasing activities relating to finished goods for tesa.
• Create and monitor purchase orders to manufacturing sites / 3rd party vendors to drive accurate finished goods stock levels while meeting service level requirements.
• Ensure delivery service targets are achieved. Investigate root causes of any deviations and take corrective actions.
• Track and verify material delays in Production/Supply/Logistics and work with commercial teams to include Customer Care, Product Managers and Sales to resolve any issues that could compromise on-time delivery.
• Continuously review inventory levels, identify slow moving materials, and work with commercial teams to support increased inventory turns.
• Support revisions/updates in forecasting with Sales and the Global Planning Team.
• Create and maintain a strong relationship with Customer Care, Product Managers, Warehousing Team, Marketing, Sales and our colleagues in other regions.
• Responsible for monitoring and supporting Product Launches and material phase outs by controlling Safety Stock and inventory risks.
• Support Customer Care, Quality and Sales to solve customer claims or additional requests from the customer.
• Document all processes and procedures used and update as changes are made.
• Other related duties as required.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, or related field, and at least five to ten years’ experience within the Supply Chain Planning environment preferred.
• Proven process improvement and project management skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset for all processes, provide innovations for discussion that increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
• Strong individual contributor with ability to provide strategic direction.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively interact in multi-cultural and international environment.
• Ability to network and build strong relationships.
• Project work experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
• SAP and BI experience strongly preferred.
• Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
