Summary:
We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team as Linen and Waste Management Technician. This role focuses on the efficient collection and disposal of trash, furniture, and soiled linen, as well as managing linen processing. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavy carts within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the laundering process of hospital linens, ensuring adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for specialty items as required.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all cleaning and handling operations.
- Coordinate with hospital staff to address specific linen needs and scheduling demands.
- Collect and dispose of trash, furniture, and soiled linen in designated areas.
- Transport heavy carts and items throughout the facility as part of daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Strong organizational skills for efficient task management.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move heavy carts throughout the facility.
