Tesco Staffing in Boston , 8WMG VPG BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS is looking housekeeping supervisor to join our strong team. We are located on 8 Wmg Xhr Boston. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.
Pay- $25/hour
Shift- 3pm to 11:30pm/11pm to 7:30am
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the work of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to all hospital infection control policies and procedures, including proper cleaning techniques, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the handling of biohazardous materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of patient rooms, common areas, and other hospital departments to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Address any housekeeping-related issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and hospital policies.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.
- Assist with the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, work schedules, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and maintenance, to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.
- Participate in safety committees and other relevant meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control principles and practices.
- Experience with cleaning and disinfecting techniques and equipment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $24.50 - $25.00/hour.
