Tesla is looking for highly motivated and adaptive individuals to support Tesla's data collection team. The primary objectives of this role are to collect data, assist with engineering requests, and report equipment feedback. The successful candidate for this position must be able to make data driven decisions and be comfortable working in a dynamic & fast paced work environment.
*Walk a pre-determined test route daily for data collection, and provide feedback on the performance of the equipment
*Start/Stop recording devices and perform minor equipment/software debugging when necessary. Analyze/report data collected during shift
*Upload data collected and write daily reports detailing observations and issues
*Ensure assigned equipment is in proper and safe working condition and safely transported to various collection sites
*Communicate with leadership when issues arise that need addressing in a timely manner
*Ability to work a flexible schedule; Day/night shifts with the ability to work 1 day per weekend. Overtime is also typical for this position
*Must be able to walk 8 hours a day while carrying up to 30 lbs
*Must be able to walk up and down stairs
*Terminal experience (running scripts, flashing software, etc.)
*Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software, mechanical experience a plus
*Experience using VR equipment a plus
*Comfortable working independently with limited oversight
*Excellent attention to detail and highly observational
*Excellent written and spoken English
*Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and writing reports/documentation
*Strong problem-solving and communication skills
*Ability to travel up to 50% of the time & daily regional driving
*Video editing experience a plus

$14.00 - $40.00/hour cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
