Tesla participates in the E-Verify Program
- Plumbing design engineering from conceptual design through construction administration
- Coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule
- Research and contribute with innovative and traditional ideas to solve challenging and difficult engineering problems
- Design plumbing systems including domestic cold-water system, water treatment, reclaimed water, domestic hot water systems, sanitary drainage and vent systems, syphonic storm drainage systems, pumping systems, natural gas distribution systems, acid waste and vent systems
- Leading small to medium size projects from a plumbing design perspective
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team based working
- Prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and in a constantly evolving environment
- 5 or more years of experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems
- Understanding trends and standard methodologies in the industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or equivalent
- PE license preferred
- Certified Plumbing Designer "CPD" - ASPE
- Familiarity with codes and standards, specifically IPC, UPC, ASPE standards, LEED water efficiency, and NFPA
- Experience doing plumbing engineering from conceptual design through construction administration
- Strong experience with 3D BIM software such as Revit MEP
- Experience with load analysis software for calculations
