**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at Tesla Motors. As an Industrial Painter, you will play a critical role in supporting our Paint shop located in California.
**Responsibilities:**
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times, including escalations of equipment and process failures to appropriate support groups and leaders.
- Operate electrostatic powder spray guns and related equipment safely and efficiently, including the proper use of PAPR.
- Perform surface preparation work, masking, and plugging.
- Inspect parts for quality defects before and after coating.
- Determine if surfaces are ready to be painted.
**Requirements:**
- ~1 years of experience in industrial paint, collision center, body shop as a painter using liquid or powder coatings.
- ~ Knowledge on rework or reprocess of painted products.
- ~ An understanding of common defects, what causes paint failures, and how to correct them.
- ~ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- ~ Ability to work within an alternative work schedule and adapt to sudden changes.
- ~ Able to perform physical work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours per day.

**Expected Compensation:** $25.88 - $28.80/hour cash and stock awards benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
