What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Painter position at Tesla?
The Tesla Collision Repair Program is looking for an Automotive Painter to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position will involve supporting the Collision Repair Program in all aspects.
Responsibilities
- High quality spray application of primers, sealers, basecoats, and clearcoats
- Spraying approximately 6 (Fully Prepped) RO's per day (2 Fasias, 1 - six panel jobs, 3 - Two to three panel jobs) in state-of-the-art downdraft spray booths
- Working closely with prep staff and other painters to meet work demands as a team
- Invisible basecoat color blending
- Application of 2 and 3 stage colors
- Produce sprayed finishes with little or no dirt and a consistent gloss and texture matching the OEM finish without the need to sand and buff

33.60 - $60.00 / hour cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
