What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Supervisor, Bodily Injury position at Tesla?
A Claims Supervisor coaches and develops a team of claims representatives / specialists responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of injury claims, ensuring a high-quality work product, while continuously developing talent by assisting with the selection of top talent.
Responsibilities
Leads and develops a team of representatives ensuring the quality, accuracy and timely resolution of claims that may include up to high exposure / litigated / complex cases
Continuously develops talent by creating opportunities for direct reports to grow and strengthen new skills
Monitors and audits the work of team members to ensure reserves are adequately set based on known file exposures
Promotes a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve how work is completed
Self-driven and able to work with minimal oversight while helping adjusters solve complex claims in multiple states
Collaborates well with attorneys, vendors and other external parties, while representing Tesla in official responsibilities
Requirements
Supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Management of litigation claims handlers
Comprehensive knowledge of legal liability, general insurance policy coverage and the State's Tort Laws
May perform other responsibilities as assigned
Adjuster licensing required
5 years directly related auto injury work experience, Bachelor`s degree preferred
