The Construction Project Manager, Factory Sustaining Projects will be responsible for managing construction projects within our manufacturing facility, ensuring the upkeep, expansion, and improvement of our factory infrastructure. The Sustaining Construction Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, complying with process and safety standards, and executing improvements without impacting production.
What You'll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and execute multiple construction projects within the factory, ensuring timely completion and budget accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Plan and execute major repairs of existing factory structures, equipment, and utilities
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Develop and manage project budgets, providing accurate cost estimates and monitoring expenses throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate contractor performance and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value for the organization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings, then implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and sustainability
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in construction project management within manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities
