What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Controls Specialist position at Tesla?
Tesla has a terrific opportunity for a skilled Document Controls Specialist to join our Factory Infrastructure Engineering team in Texas. This position will provide a high level of customer service to Tesla staff, vendors, business partners and guests while at times, being the client interface.
Responsibilities
Design change management coordination
Improve on data tracking tools and organization
Ensure proper hand-off from scoping to design to construction
Construction Documentation / Administration Phases tasks include file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs & submittals, QA / QC documents stamping and coordination
Requirements
5-7 years of Document Control experience in architecture, design, or construction
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, and MS Azure DevOps strongly preferred
Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter
Flexibility and proven ability to handle and manage frequent changes effectively and efficiently
