What To Expect
This role serves as support to the Senior Analyst of Infrastructure Programs on the Global Energy Portfolio Team.
This role will serve an analysis, implementation, and management function related to construction cost optimization for the North America Supercharger buildout. This role will include a high degree of collaboration and strategy setting with Tesla’s Policy Team. This portfolio will consist of consolidation and tracking of global initiatives for EV infrastructure installations, execution of program applications, and meeting ongoing program reporting obligations. This role will need to maintain a close relationship with the sub-regional teams inside Tesla. Technical and interpersonal skills are a must to keep up with and aid our growing team of engineers and project managers distributed in the field. This role will be based in Austin, TX.
What You'll Do
Evaluate, draft, and submit new request for proposals and applications, and other formal procedures Manage ongoing reporting requirements and program obligations Develop and maintain a portfolio-level roadmap of initiatives and targets Conduct detailed site-level financial analysis, and create sophisticated analytical frameworks, models, and tools to track capital expenditure efficiency Coordinate and negotiate with vendors and strategic partners on the implementation of business strategies Coordinate with other Tesla business planning and global deployment teams to ensure accurate forecasting and deployment of resources
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in a field relevant to Business Planning, Analysis, Engineering, or equivalent experience 2 years’ financial analysis experience with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project Knowledge of infrastructure development, public policy, and competitive solicitation proposal development Superb organizational skills with strong multi-tasking abilities Impeccable communication skills, both writing and speaking - ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of individuals Highly structured individual with affinity for business models, optimization, and creative thinking Highly energetic personality with an ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
