Production Supervisor, North Paint

What To Expect
This Production Supervisor will report to an Associate Manager of Paint and will be responsible for meeting Production demand for the line by addressing bottlenecks, balancing manpower and developing countermeasures on quality and equipment issues. The Production Supervisor provides hands-on support, leadership, and direction to their direct reports including Technicians, Leads and Associates. The successful candidate for this position takes pride in their hands-on and analytical abilities, organization skills and attention to detail. What You'll Do

Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned shift/employees to achieve the required quality and Production goals. Maintain department records and inventories. Manage the movement of product through the Production area

Ensure that product is always in the process. Plan and organize work for smooth operations

Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality

Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety program

Work with employees to resolve technical and personnel problems. Schedule employees to effectively meet Production needs and to ensure vacation and other time off consistent with plant policies. Assist in candidate selection as requested

Provide the shift-to-shift communication link in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals. Communicate to employees all issues that affect the plant

Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Manager

What You'll Bring

5 years of experience in fast paced high volume Manufacturing environment

Must have at least 6 months of Lead experience or previous leadership experience

Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity

Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goal

One to three years of industrial supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred

Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation

$80,000 - $120,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
