As we scale global operations and create new products, logistics will continue to be central to Tesla’s future. As a Packaging Quality Manager on the logistics team, you will work at the nexus of technology and Quality packaging, solving problems and unblocking Tesla as we grow and scale.
- Review and evaluate existing packaging with GMS to ensure Quality service parts are shipped out
- Developing standardized operating instructions for the service parts packaging
- Analyze, plan and packaging requirements and standards in reference to projects and new program
- Determine and define clear quality standards and responsibilities for Associates
- Drafting packaging ideas to reduce costs and improve quality and operations KPI
- Performing packaging simulations and troubleshooting issues
- Serve as Quality and Packaging point of contact to resolve any issues that might come up

- Demonstrated excellence in STEM areas, eg computer science, math, physics, and stats
- Passion and expertise for different types of technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with technical team members is essential
- Interest in supply chain, logistics, and business operations
- Patient and thoughtful; able to perform under pressure and simultaneously manage multiple priorities
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$68,000 - $222,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
