What are the responsibilities and job description for the SIU Supervisor position at Tesla?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated SIU supervisor to oversee day to day operations of our Special Investigations Unit. This position plays a critical role in identifying, investigating, and mitigating potentially fraudulent activities while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The SIU supervisor will lead a team of SIU investigators, provide strategic direction, and collaborate with internal departments and external partners.
What You'll Do
- Supervise a team of SIU investigators including assigning cases, monitoring workloads, and providing guidance and training
- Leads and develops a team of investigators ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely resolution of SIU investigations that may include up to high exposure/complex cases
- Monitor trends in fraud and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risk
- Prepare and develop regular reports to management on investigation outcomes, performance metrics, and team progress
- Collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders including existing policyholders, the business community, and governmental agencies, to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Promotes a culture committed to identifying process efficiencies to continuously improve how work is completed

- May perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Adjuster licensing required
- 5 years directly related work experience
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience preferred
