The Manufacturing Quality Data Engineering team is a high-impact, high-priority, and high-visibility team that is laser-focused on addressing safety-critical issues and expanding critical services to Gigafactories worldwide. As part of Tesla's Vehicle Engineering organization,you will have access to a vast array of data sources across design, manufacturing, and vehicle data, empowering you to design, develop, and deploy innovative data services, automation, and machine learning tools into production use. As a Software Product Manager, you will define and deliver software product vision, strategy, and roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, drive business impact, and deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver software product vision, strategy, roadmap and release plan based on agile principles, aligning with team objectives and key results, organizational goals and customer needs
- Gather and prioritize product requirements from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams through engagement and office hou rmeetings. Capture new feature requests and feedbacks, and solidify requirements with use cases and process flow charts
- Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, application support and software quality assurance (QA) teams to define and prioritize product features, epics, and user stories using Jira and deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs and expectations
- Design and develop software product solutions, including user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designs, with tools such as Jira and Figma
- Standardize product feature and user experience across all regions, and optimize product development processes to maximize efficiency and synergy
- Define, develop, and monitor business impact and key performance indicators (KPIs) and create visualization to measure success, leveraging data analysis skills to extract insights from large datasets through complex SQL queries, and interpreting metrics trends, stakeholder feedback, and data patterns to inform product decisions

108,000 - $228,000 / annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
