What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Program Manager position at Tesla?
Tesla's Interiors and Seating team is seeking a Program Manager to support our growing Vehicle business. In this role, you will function as the key liaison between the Supply Chain Organization and internal stakeholders including Tesla's Executive Team, Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing.
The Program Manager will work closely with the core Program / Project team to manage visibility on high value programs and communicate key milestones and goals with the rest of the Supply Chain organization.
Additionally, the Program Manager will collaborate closely with their Supply Chain team members including Global Supply Managers, Supplier Industrialization Engineers, Material Planners, and Logistics Managers across on behalf of the entire Interiors and Seating team. You will bring stakeholders together to track key Supply Chain metrics to assure the timely and efficient execution of Tesla's portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities
- Represent the Supply Chain organization in meetings with Tesla's Executive Team to provide 1) updates on program status for your commodities, 2) highlight potential risks and 3) outlining proposed solutions and mitigating steps
- Create presentations, data visualizations and executive summaries to guide decision-making across the supply chain team
- Analyze and create a complete Supply Chain strategy for the program(s) assigned to you, for the organization to follow during strategic decision-making tasks
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track program status and communicate key project metrics to the broader organization including Engineering, Industrialization, Part Qualification and Manufacturing Readiness
- Define and drive execution of the Supply Chain metrics as well as all project requirements (from design readiness, sourcing progress, supplier readiness, status on program milestones, among others)
- Continuously monitor and measure project processes and activities to ensure no delays to the project and that potential risks are identified in a timely manner
- Manage project timelines and resources and ensure risk mitigation actions are identified and in place to ensure successful program launches

Expected Compensation
100,000 - $186,000 / annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
