Qualifications
*Required education: *
Master”s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, linguistics, education, English, or other languages along with TESL courses
*Required experience: *
- Two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language
- Ability to instruct diverse audiences
- Ability to effectively teach all areas of the English language
- Ability to teach education courses in the Louisiana ESL Endorsement series
- Master”s of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language
- Experience teaching abroad -Experience teaching higher education and graduate students
- Experience with oral proficiency using ACTFL or CEFR standards
- K-12 experience in the USA -Teacher certification
- Ph.D. in closely related area
