Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Lessons: Create engaging, language-rich lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of ELL students.
- Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure ELL students have the support they need across all subjects.
- Assess and Track Progress: Monitor and assess language development, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continued progress.
- Family Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and needs.
- Create an Inclusive Environment: Build a positive and supportive classroom culture where every student feels confident in their ability to learn.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Education, TESOL, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Certification: ESL/ELL certification preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching elementary-aged children, especially ELL students.
