ESL Teacher

Location:Alexis, NC

Start: ASAP

Caseload:12 students, part-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support student development and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to acmodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
  
  

Educational Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education, English, or a related subject.
• Relevant coursework in child development, instructional methods, and curriculum design.
  
  

Certification Requirements

• Valid NCteaching certificate for ESL.
• Endorsements or additional certifications may be required based on specific grade levels or subject areas.
