ESL Teacher

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to support student development and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to acmodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
- Bachelors degree in Education, English, or a related subject.
- Relevant coursework in child development, instructional methods, and curriculum design.
- Valid NCteaching certificate for ESL.
- Endorsements or additional certifications may be required based on specific grade levels or subject areas.
