Personnel new to the District are limited to a maximum 10th step placement based on previous experience: $90.73.

• Benefits:*With the exception of Workers” Compensation benefits; this classification is not eligible for District paid benefits.

• Minimum Qualifications:*Master”s degree in TESL, TESOL, applied linguistics with a TESL emphasis, linguistics with a TESL emphasis, English with a TESL emphasis, or education with a TESL emphasis OR bachelor”s degree in TESL, TESOL, English with a TESL certificate, linguistics with a TESL certificate, applied
  
  

linguistics with a TESL certificate, or any foreign language with a TESL certificate AND master”s degree in linguistics, applied linguistics, English, composition, bilingual/bicultural studies, reading, speech, or any foreign language OR the equivalent.

Applications will be reviewed by a screening committee which will select candidates to be interviewed. After interviews, a recommendation will be forwarded to the President, Chancellor, and Board of Trustees.
